Evidence
Violence is all around us.
There is no need to fear it, indeed.
Why don’t we try to iron out our concerns about the matter by simply laughing at it?
These shots are “evidence” that
we might actually do it…”
This work was born and grew up digital, but everything from the beginning to the end, was made trying to leave aside post-production and digital retouching techniques.
Nothing was digitally added or subtracted from these shots: everything you see was there… believe it or not!
This work is not about the truth. This project’s goal is showing scary things, violence and gore from a colorful poppish point of view. The represented scenes are very intense at first sight, but while the eye loop through the pictures it discovers little ironic details and citations that make the beholder reconsider the bodywork from another point of view. A new interpretation that is nearer to the comic’s world than to the real crime scenes world.
